Christian a déjà fait un essai avec Spyker, ça ne s'est pas concrétisé pour une simple question de fric.
Et malheureusement, j'ai bien peur qu'a ce jeu là, ce soit son pote Luizzi qui l'emporte.

Croisont les doigts trés fort pour Christian.

Par contre je suis pas sûre que Sutil soit encore chez India l'année prochaine. Mercedes et Toyota s'interresse aussi à lui, alors ... ?

Toutefois, j'aimerais bien voir mes 2 Chouchous ensemble

Je tient à préciser que le patron de Force India à dit ne pas s'interreser au nationalité ni au sponsoring, que seul le talent compterait

Après avoir passé une année chez Honda en tant que pilote d'essai, l'Autrichien Christian Klien espère revenir aux choses sérieuses, c'est-à-dire faire son retour sur les grilles de départ des Grands Prix de F1.

C'est avec cet objectif en tête, que Klien participera aux essais privés de la semaine prochaine à Barcelone, au volant d'une monoplace de l'équipe Force India (ex-Spyker).

Honda l'a donc libéré de ses obligations afin qu'il puisse suivre une autre voie. "J'ai encore beaucoup de choses à faire avant que tout se déroule comme je le souhaite, mais suite à l'accord trouvé avec Honda, je peux maintenant me concentrer totalement sur d'autres objectifs," déclare Christian Klien.

Klien sera donc au volant de la Spyker F8-VII, la semaine prochaine à Barcelone, mais cette monoplace n'est pas vraiment une inconnue pour lui puisqu'il l'avait pilotée en juillet dernier sur le circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Il était alors en lice pour remplacer Christijan Albers, mais Spyker avait finalement choisi Sakon Yamamoto pour disputer les sept derniers Grands Prix de la saison.

Klien to focus on racing in 2008

Honda’s test and reserve driver Christian Klien has reached an agreement with the Japanese team’s management which will allow him to leave and pursue a race drive with another squad for the 2008 season. Klien will test with Force India, formerly Spyker, at this week's multi-team test at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya.



“I have really enjoyed working with the Honda Racing F1 Team this year and would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to work with them and provide support to Jenson (Button) and Rubens (Barrichello),” said the 24 year-old.

“My goal for 2007 was to work with a team like Honda, and it has been a really great experience. Honda is an outstanding company and their Formula One team deserves to succeed. I would like to thank everyone in the team for their help and support.”

The Austrian joined Honda late last year and has undertaken several tests with the team, carrying out development work in both the RA106 and RA107, as well as attending every round of the 2007 championship in his role as reserve driver. However, as a result of new regulations, his time spent in the car was restricted.

“Due to the limited testing available during the season, however, I have decided to focus my efforts on specific opportunities to race in 2008 in Formula One, and my immediate goal is to complete a successful test for the Etihad Aldar Force India F1 Team in Barcelona next week,” Klien added.

“Naturally I am concentrating on racing - that comes first. Considering the way in which younger drivers have performed in this year’s Formula One World Championship, including those whom I have raced against and beaten in lower formulae, I am very happy with the interest being shown in me.

“I still have a lot of work to do in order for everything to work out the way I want, but following the agreement with the Honda Racing F1 Racing team I am now in a position to give other opportunities my full commitment, commencing with testing for the Etihad Aldar Force India F1 Team.”

Klien tested for Spyker in July at Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps track and will drive alongside Adrian Sutil and former Red Bull team mate Vitantonio Lizzi at this week’s three-day Spanish session in Barcelona.
